Kipling Camp was established in 1982 on the edge of Kanha Tiger Reserve in Central India. The camp is open to naturalists, conservationists and those who wish to relax in idyllic surroundings. It is also the home of TARA, the much-loved elephant who starred in Mark Shand's best selling epic "My Travels on an Elephant". Kipling Camp is a simple and comfortable resort offering enjoyable stay and nourishing cuisine.
Location
160 kilometers (100 miles) south of Jabalpur, lies the Kanha National Park which is one of the first areas to come under Project Tiger. On the western edge of the park is Kipling Camp.
Rooms and Suites
The hotel offers comfortable two-to four-room cottages, all of these come with their own verandah offering views around the camp. The standard features of all the rooms include:en-suite bathroom with shower, shelves and hanging area for clothes, heaters and hot water bottle and room coolers.

Shamiana: This restaurant serves lunch and dinner. It also has a refershment bar were a wide variety of beverages are served.
