Camp Forktail Creek is situated on the North Eastern periphery of the Corbett Tiger Reserve. Corbett is India's first and one of her finest National Parks. Because of its geographic location, Corbett supports a rich varity of habitat and is extremely rich in bio-diversity. Camp Forktail Creek offers a great forest experience in the land Jim Corbett once roamed. Situated in the village of Bhakrakot, the camp is surrounded by mixed deciduous forests that are extremely rich in wildlife and birdlife.
Location
The Resort is located at a distance of 275 kms from the International Airport(Delhi) and it is at a distance of 23 kms from the Ramnagar Railway Station.
Rooms and Suites
The Resort offers spacious safari tents on raised wooden floors are well spaced for privacy. Each tent has a deck and a atttached bathroom. The furnishings in each tent include a chest of drawers with a dressing mirror, twin beds with soft duvets, side tables, deck chairs and a luggage table.
There are mud huts, specially created by local craftsmen. Each have thick thatched roofs, a private verandah and attached toilets. Furnishings are similar to the tents.
Dinning
The Thatch: This is the Resorts lounge and dinning area.
The Dhaba: The Dhaba” or tea point, a hot favorite amongst all, is where hot tea or coffee is brewed in a fashion typical to this region.
