"We wanted something special for our 60th and 65th birthdays and were far from disappointed. I had waited 55 years to see the Taj Mahal and we were both in tears on seeing it. The story that was explained in detail by the guide overwhelmed us.

Since we first enquired about the tour in March, Prathima has become like one of our family, with the help and guidance she has given. The love of her country has blossomed through to us and we felt as though she was coming with us. A true credit, not only to your country but to your company as well. Everything she told us about the places certainly lived up to and exceeded expectations. Enchanting-India looked after us so well, all we had to do was get there and enjoy ourselves. From meeting us at the airport, to the hotels, the transport, the driver, the guides and the full organisation was far superior to we expected. We have travelled a fair amount, most of Europe, the far east, Australia, Africa and the Carribean, and we can honestly say that this was the best holiday we have ever had, thanks to Enchanting-India and the fantastic staff they employed to make us more than welcome in their land.

"Our experience with Enchanting-Travels in planning our trip to northern India was exceptional. We had a local guide in each city. The guides were all very knowledgeable about India's history, religion, and culture and spoke excellent English. The arrangements were flawless at each step of the trip. The recommended hotels were excellent and the pace of the trip was perfect for what we wanted. We were able to tell our guide and driver each day when we wanted to start and we stayed at each site we visited during the day as long as we wanted. "Our North India trip had a heritage and cultural slant. We concentrated on visits of historical value or on visits to shops that continue older arts. Our start time was flexible, but we rose early and had a delicious continental or Indian breakfast everyday. We managed to see 8 cities/towns in 13 days. We were surprised at our ability to see and do as much as we did! What an amazing adventure it was! I can't tell you how well Enchanting-Travels took care of us! We also traveled by car, train, and domestic plane, so we saw many Indias. It would take another five or so trips to even begin to think we had a good oversight.

I came back to the States with a slightly better understanding of my fellow man and myself. I have stronger notions on essentials to a good life: safe water and health care. And I have a greater appreciation of the beauty that India brings to the world."

You can get cheaper deals from a variety of companies but I would beware of this. India is a wonderful place but has many contradictions, great charm mixed with downright irritating and irrational behaviour with a tendency to sometimes tell you things that you want to hear, but are not necessarily true. It is nice to have the security of a professional and dedicated team like the one at EI to make sure this does not become an issue.

In short...you get what you pay for and with Enchanting-India we have far more memories and experiences that we could ever have imagined and that is priceless!"
